Yale Scholarship
The Yale Scholarship is a need-based grant aid for undergraduates. If a student is awarded financial aid, the Yale Scholarship amount is included on the Financial Aid Award Letter.
This scholarship alone receives from a few hundred dollars to over $70,000 per year; the average Yale need-based scholarship is over $50,000 so there is enough money to go round to all applicants.
Merit-based scholarships

Entitlement grants

Eligibility Criteria for Yale University Scholarships
To be eligible for Yale University Scholarships, you are to meet these basic criteria, especially for international students;
- Required Language: English.
- TOEFL scores of at least the following:
- 100 on the internet-based TOEFL
- 600 on the paper-based TOEFL
- 250 on the computer-based TOEFL

Applying To Study at Yale University
Applications for the 2025 academic year are open and students who wish to apply are to follow these steps

- Recommendations from two teachers and one counselor
- School Report with transcript
- Standardized test results (ACT, AP, IB, or SAT) (See below)
