The James Lind Institute has three scholarship options and all interested candidates for these scholarships can apply as soon as possible;

- Financial Assistance
- JLI Publication Award
JLI President’s Scholarship
This scholarship is available to all applicants for master’s programs and no specific criteria are utilized. Each application is assessed based on its merit.
- Tuition waiver: Up to 25% of Tuition Fee for the entire program.
- Programs: All master’s degree programs at James Lind Institute.
In this scholarship option, you don’t need to apply because the scholarship is part of your admission application and is given based on your previous academic performance.

Financial Assistance Scholarship
All students who need financial assistance can apply for this scholarship and usually, the school might request documents in support of your application.
Tuition waiver: Up to 25% of Tuition Fee for the entire program.
Programs: All master’s degree programs at James Lind Institute
JLI Publication Award
This scholarship is open to all students whose research work is published in a journal of good standing within 12 months before submitting their application.
Tuition waiver: Up to 50% of Tuition Fee for the entire program.
Programs: All master’s degree programs at James Lind Institute.
Requirements for James Lind Institute
To apply to study at the university, scan all the below documents and have them in a softcopy as you will need to upload them on the application portal.
Generally, you need the following documents (Some programs may have additional requirements):
- A passport-size photo (head and shoulders only)
- Copy of identity proof e.g. a copy of passport or any other government-issued identity card
- Copy of the qualification(s) you list in your application (degree/diploma etc.)
- Copy of associated academic transcripts/marks sheets
Some master’s degree programs may also require;
- Copy of High School Diploma / Secondary School Certificate (for some masters programs only)
- Copy of English language proficiency test results (if applicable)

Applying to Study at James Lind Institute

- Step One: Create an account (Dream ID) by clicking Sign in / register on this page.
- Step two: Select the program and the semester you wish to apply for. The available semesters and the application deadlines are displayed for each program.
- Step three: Fill in details about yourself such as contact information, education, languages, employment, etc.
- Step four: Upload supporting documents in the ‘checklist’ section of the application.
- Step five: You may save the information entered along the way and when all fields have been filled and the tasks completed, click ‘Submit’ to submit your application.
